Global Junior works in the heart of York's communities providing quality kids clubs for children aged 5-11. We also run activities in primary schools including workshops, lunch time sessions and after school clubs. Every week we visit the parents and families of children who come to the activities, making sure that a holistic approach is taken to children's welfare. We provide children with a lively, high energy, fun environment where they can 'let off steam' and enjoy simply being kids, whilst building confidence and gaining key life skills. One of the aims of Global Junior is to empower children to make excellent choices by teaching them great life principles, providing sound role models and being a consistent positive presence in their lives.
- Working with over 150 children every week.
- Regularly working in 6 primary schools.
- Running an annual residential trip to taking 50 children on a Summer Adventure!
- Visiting over 100 families every week, building great relationships with parents.
- Running 8 weekly activity sessions for children to attend.
- Holding annual awards events to recognise the achievements of children.
