Global is a vibrant twenty-first century church that has seen unprecedented growth in the weekly attendance of its Sunday events since it launched in January 2005. Global now has two congregations, one in Lancashire and one in York, which are full of people from diverse backgrounds. Dave and Shelley Shore

Senior Leaders Dave and Shelley Shore established Global out of their passion for life. They have been married for 23 years and have 3 teenage sons. They bring with them a breadth of experience in developing leaders and teams. Alongside all of this Shelley is a senior midwife at York District Hospital and Dave runs a number of businesses and speaks both at home and abroad on topics ranging from Church growth to entrepreneurship.

VISION

Global's vision is a reflection of the people we are and want to become. We've tried to make it as simple as possible, so that everyone can understand it; Love God, Love People, Love Life.

Global's mission is based on 3 keys:

Love God

We're passionate about outworking Jesus' great commandment - to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Global inspires people to live this out in the ordinariness of everyday life.

Love People

The second part of the great commandment is 'Love your neighbour as yourself'. Global expresses this through various initiatives including kids, youth and community work.

Love Life

Loving life causes us to live life to the full. This involves having a great attitude, building great atmospheres, creating great environments and embracing different opportunities. Global promotes this in everything it does.
